These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PIA VPN services, websites, and applications (collectively, the "Service") operated by Private Internet Access ("PIA", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, installing our software, or using the Service in any way you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at security@piavpn.org.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@piavpn.org. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions. Request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting support@piavpn.org. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Refunds do not apply to renewals, chargebacks, or repeat purchases.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Attempt to breach or circumvent our security or another user's privacy
• Engage in activities that exploit or harm minors
• Resell or repackage the Service without written authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, text, logos, and design, is owned by PIA and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PIA is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page at least 30 days before taking effect.
